advice surgery

I got back from holiday just in time to help Simon out at the August advice surgery. It was just as well that I did because 18 people turned up! Usually such a turn out suggest a single major issue-typically a phone mast. All sorts of things were going through my mind on this occaison not least of all wheelie bins. The Tories aided and abetted by their uncritical friends at the Visiter have kicked up a Daily Mail style scare. They were confounded. There were 14 different reason why they all came. On closer analysis it appears that because the surgery got better billing in the local press-it being August and not much news.
The first interview was with aman who wanted to say 'thank you' for some case work I had done. The rest ranged from traffic problems to schools via plannig applications & problems with youths.

I am happy to address most contributions, even the drunken ones if they are coherent, but I am not going to engage with negative sniping from those who do not have the guts to add their names or a consistent on-line identity to their comments. Such postings will not be published.

Anonymous comments with a constructive contribution to make to the discussion, even if it is critical will continue to be posted. Libellous comments or remarks I think may be libellous will not be published.

I will also not tolerate personation so please do not add comments in the name of real people unless you are that person. If you do not like these rules then start your own blog.

Oh, and if you persist in repeating yourself despite the fact I have addressed your point I may get bored and reject your comment.
